This has been brewing for a few years now. I'm growing from supporting kirtan leaders with 1-1 mentorship and support into Learn to Lead Kirtan Retreats.

I have been training with my teacher Nikki Slade over this last year. In July I complete our years course in facilitating  Learn to lead Kirtan days and retreats. It's been an incredible journey. To offer this retreat at the gorgeous Mill Space is a dream coming true

For those who may not know, Kirtan is a devotional practice from the bhakti yoga tradition, the yoga of the heart.

It's music medicine for the mind, body and spirit and a powerful purification practice which brings us to stillness and joy.

Who is the retreat for....

This retreat is for everyone who would like to delve into the practice of leading kirtan. For those who have been leading already, for those who would like to lead, and simply for the deepening of ones own kirtan practice with perhaps a view in the future to offer kirtan

The retreat will delve into the pillars of kirtan leading, including Yoga for grounding, voice work, connecting with the Gods and Godesses and the space of devotion, harmonium technique and much more!

No previous experience necessary, simply a love of the practice.

Retreat price is more or less  £777/ £888 depending on rooms, whether you have en suite or a shared bathroom. 

Flights, not included, are to Almeria from Gatwick. There is  an early morning flight on the 12th so we will arrive at the Mill Space before lunch, and our flight home is Monday evening so we have a full day on Monday too!

All sessions are optional, if you want to have a lie in and miss morning yoga, you are more than welcome to!
